You're Invited to a Mickey and Minnie Party!

On Saturday, January 28th we celebrated Gabriel and Eden's 2nd birthday, Mickey and Minnie style!

The cupcakes were decorated with mini Oreos for mouse ears!

This choo-choo was the first gift Gabe opened and afterwards wasn't interested in much else.

Eden loves her baby doll bed!

The Birthday Boy!

The Birthday Girl!

Silas celebrated too by dressing up like Mickey Mouse!

A Big Birthday!

When Gabe and Eden turned two, we wanted to take them out for a special day to celebrate their birthday.  We started with a big breakfast at Denney's.  Breakfast is one of their favorite meals and they ate really well!

After breakfast, we went to the Kernersville Bounce House.  They are still a little too young to do some of it alone so dad and I got to play with them.

Gabriel loved sliding.  He went down on his back, belly, head first and backwards.

Eden found a toy that blew out air and loved how it felt on her hair.

Later that night, their Nana and Poppy wanted to take them for dinner to Chuck-E-Cheese.  We weren't sure how they would react to a huge mouse but they thought he was cool . . . from a distance.

There is an indoor playground that they loved climbing in.

Gabe and Poppy played air hockey.

Watch Out!  Eden is driving!

Gabe was very hesitant on riding the toys but he couldn't resist the tractor.
They really do love each other!

The twins turn 2!

Gabriel
Height: 3 feet 2 inches
Height Predicted by Doctor: 6 feet 4 inches
Weight: 34.5 pounds
Favorite Food: MILK! and Ravioli
Favorite Book: Little People's "Farm Book"
Favorite Toy: Choo-Choos or Monster Trucks he calls them "Big Truck"
Favorite Song: "Deep and Wide"
Favorite Cartoon: "Chuggington" or "Little Einsteins"
About Gabe:
Gabe is easy to please! He is happy with any type of car, truck, air plane, or train. He loves, loves, loves to dance and looks so cute doing the motions to "Deep and Wide." He likes to play with Play-doh but would rather drive his trunk through it. He can turn any object (socks, sippy cups, a wand) into a car and drive it around the room. He loves his brother and sister but prefers to play in his own world. Gabe is still a softy and very good at snuggling. He is working on learning to count to 3 and can say so many words. Gabe loves to sleep with "Duck," a Donald Duck stuffed animal he got for his birthday.
Gabriel is a wonderful, loving, little man. We wouldn't change a thing about Gabe. We are so thankful for our son!

Eden

Height: 2 feet 11 inches
Height Predicted by Doctor: 5 feet 10 inches
Weight: 26.5 pounds
Favorite Food: Salad with dressing
Favorite Book: "Big Green Monster" she calls it her "Geen Monker Book"
Favorite Toy: Baby dolls and any type of coloring
Favorite Song: "Itsy Bitsy Spider"
Favorite Cartoon: "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" or "Elmo's World"
About Eden:
Eden is very curious. She loves to figure out how things work and easily gets frustrated when she can't do it herself. She loves her two brothers and will do anything for them. Eden loves to paint, blow bubbles, color, play with stickers, play with her Mr. Potato Head, and play with her baby dolls. She is constantly learning new things. She can spell E-D-E but hasn't said the N yet. She counts to 3 and loves to dance and sing. Eden loves books; so much so that they are loved to pieces. She's always asking someone to read to her or pretending to read them herself. She has a good memory and can pretty much read her "Monker Book" herself (she screams "Go Away" on each page). Eden loves to sleep with "Mickey Ma Mouse," and Minnie Mouse stuffed animal she got for her birthday.
Eden is a sweet, curious, little diva. We love everything about her. Thank you God for this precious gift!

Christmas

I never imagined this Christmas quite the way it turned out this year but I wouldn't change it for anything.  We've had Silas at home for 2 weeks now and he and the twins are doing great.  God continues to amaze me; He is an awesome God.

In 2010 God blessed us with Gabriel and Eden and He made known His plans for us to go to the mission field.  In 2011 God made possible a trip to Ecuador and blessed our family with Silas.  I can't imagine what God is going to do in 2012 but I'm ready for it!

God has blessed our whole family.
