Big Beds

Last week we moved Eden into a twin bed and converted Gabe's crib into a toddler bed.  The main reasons we did this was because Silas is sleeping in a pack-n-play and the twins are starting to hike their legs over the sides of their cribs.  We decided to switch it all out Sunday night so they have a full week of sleeping in their beds only at night then when the weekend comes, hopefully they will stay in their beds at nap time.  Well our plan mostly worked.  Sunday afternoon, I heard complete silence in the monitors then bursts of laughter from Eden.  I went into their room to find Gabe climbing into Eden's bed.  One pop on his hiney was all it took to get the point across that he has to stay in his bed.  The rest of the evening, he kept repeating "Bu-boo stay bed."  My favorite thing about their new beds is that we can lay in bed with them and snuggle.  Instead of waking up, going to the couch and watching cartoons, we laid in bed and snuggled until breakfast time!

One of Eden's first words was fla-fur (flower).  So we decided to decorate in a flower theme.  She's already pulled some of the stickers off the wall but she quickly found out that they "break" and we have to throw them away.

Eden has to have her blanket and Minnie Mouse to sleep at night.

Gabe LOVES any kind of truck and he is so happy in his "truck bed."  He has to sleep covered up with a blanket and if he isn't covered up, he will yell "Cov-up" over and over again until you come in and cover him up.  We quickly learned that the comforter is too thick for him and instead cover him up with a flat sheet that he thinks is a blanket.
